Happy birthday to our dear Capricorn stellium king, Kim Taehyung / Tete / thv! ARMY, let’s take a moment to express gratitude for how much Tae has fed us this past solar return. Especially recently—from his LA/Hawaii escapades, deleted IG stories, FACIAL HAIR, and of course his tarot reader persona (I’m not over it and never will be)… it’s been great to see him explore/share his individuality, despite the collective difficulties we’re all feeling.
Taehyung Day falls within Capricorn season, the cardinal earth sign of the zodiac. Ruled by Saturn, it’s typically a time to diligently evaluate and rework our tried-and-true systems in order to help us grow, heal, and create. This Saturnian rulership gives the sea-goat Capricorn a flavor of responsibility, restriction, and resilience.
Capricorn is a sign that will figure it out, on its own terms. Tae does what he wants and doesn’t mind being contrarian or silly! He makes art, tries on a million different accessories to find just the right one, and wears a full Squid Game cosplay while performing. Tae makes hard work look effortless and playful. Capricorn is also associated with tradition and winter-y melancholy, which honestly might explain why so much of Tae’s solo works are Christmas songs… 😂
